Privacy policy
This page lists the scripts the site actually loads on the day it was published, with the ids read back from each vendor's dashboard. If a vendor changes, this page changes in the same update.
Who to ask
This policy covers diablo2survivors.com, the D2 Survivors Guide. Write to [email protected] for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of a message you sent us. We use the letter to answer that request and then remove it from the mailbox when the thread is finished. We do not run a separate marketing list.
What loads on the first page view
Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra start on the first page view, without waiting for a click. The cookie banner on the first visit is a notice and a withdrawal control, not a gate. Pressing Reject stops all three and is remembered for 180 days; Accept turns them back on. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is treated as Reject. YouTube stays behind its Play button. The playable game is an outbound link to the official site.
Google Analytics 4 (measurement id G-8J86GM1WXE) loads from www.googletagmanager.com and reports to *.google-analytics.com and *.analytics.google.com. It counts page views and basic events. Consent Mode v2 defaults run before config: analytics_storage is granted; ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are denied, and ads_data_redaction is enabled. Under this site's default-on policy an update then grants the advertising signals unless a refusal is stored. Reject keeps analytics_storage granted in Consent Mode but separately disables GA4, stores the refusal and reloads to stop future requests.
Microsoft Clarity (project id z4kx5ibhn9) loads from www.clarity.ms/tag/ and scripts.clarity.ms and sends session recordings and heatmap data to *.clarity.ms (including letter-prefixed collection hosts observed in this audit). Clarity masks form inputs by default. A stored Reject prevents the loader from creating its script; rejecting after load reloads the page to unload the recording code.
Adsterra (publisher id 3403020, website id 6156320) serves a Native Banner (unit 31960738) above the footer and a Social Bar (unit 31960739) fixed at the bottom. The snippets are requested from bicea.org and observed delivery partners on 2026-10-28 include static.nresystems.com, cdn.storageimagedisplay.com, cdn.show-sb.com, cdn.show-creative1.com and cdn.cloudpiko.com. Their scripts and creative assets load by default along with bicea.org; Reject closes this delivery chain on the reloaded page. Adult ads are switched off for this website in the Adsterra account. Reject means neither snippet is requested, and the Hide ad bar button hides the fixed bar on later visits.
YouTube: the video cards show a local still. The youtube-nocookie.com iframe is created only after you press Play, and Google may then set its own cookies under its policy. It is not part of the first page view.
Outbound links to the developer's site, Discord and store pages are ordinary links and load only if you follow them. Fonts, screenshots and the logo are files on this origin; there is no font CDN request.
Ads, personalized advertising and opt-outs
Adsterra is the only advertising network on this site and adult ads are off. Adsterra and its delivery partners may use cookies or device identifiers to cap frequency, prevent fraud, measure delivery and personalize ads. Reject in the banner withdraws that use for this browser and stops the units loading; Cookie settings brings the choice back at any time.
You can also opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, YourAdChoices, Your Online Choices and the NAI opt-out. Adsterra's own practices are described in its privacy policy. Microsoft Clarity data can be limited through Microsoft's privacy controls. Browser settings can block cookies, and clearing site data removes the two localStorage keys above.
Legal basis, rights, and changes
This site enables measurement and advertising before an affirmative choice. The initial default-on state is not a record of your express consent. Reject or Global Privacy Control stops future vendor loading, but cannot erase requests already sent. Contact us to object or request deletion. Privacy and cookie requirements depend on your jurisdiction; the controls here describe the actual default-on operation rather than claiming that silence supplies consent.
Serving the page and keeping the short preference are how the site functions. Mail you send is processed to answer you. You can ask for a copy of mail we hold about you, a correction, or deletion, by emailing the contact address. We have no user accounts. You can also complain to a data-protection authority where you live.
The host that serves the static files may keep ordinary connection logs (IP address, user agent, URL, time). Those logs are the host's, and this site does not add a second analytics copy. We do not knowingly collect data from children. When this policy changes, the date under the heading changes with it; the current date is 2026-10-28.
Questions
Do you use Google Analytics?
Yes. Google Analytics 4 measurement id G-8J86GM1WXE loads on the first page view. Reject in the banner sends a denied consent update and disables it for that browser.
Do you show ads?
Yes, Adsterra Native Banner and Social Bar units. Adult ads are switched off. ads.txt declares Adsterra publisher 3403020, and Reject stops both units from loading.
How do I withdraw the choice?
Use Cookie settings in the footer and press Reject. That writes d2s_consent as denied for 180 days, removes Clarity and Adsterra from the page, and disables GA4 for that browser.
