D2 Survivors Paladin

The skill list includes evolutions with names also used by Diablo II gear. Build 20261020.3 identifies Passion and Herald of Zakarum as evolutions; 20261022.3 names Alma Negra. The 131 peak is one submitted result, not an average floor.

The peak, and what it is not

Trees: Combat Skills, Offensive Auras, Defensive Auras. Client start: strength 25, dexterity 20, vitality 25, energy 15. 37,731 runs (18.1 percent), 14,101 players, peak Terror 131, median level 85, Hell median 32:40. That Hell time is the fastest of the seven. The 131 is the highest single floor in the snapshot.

Auras and evolved skills

The board lists Passion 70.0 percent, Alma Negra 67.4, Zakarum's Hand 65.5, Herald of Zakarum 62.7, then Vengeance 54.9 and Conversion 52.0. These skill names must not be classified as equipment just because Diablo II has items with the same names. The changelog describes Passion as evolved Zeal, Herald of Zakarum as evolved Charge, and Alma Negra as the Smite/Fanaticism evolution. Auras filed as passives: Concentration 85.1, Might 75.1, Fanaticism 69.6. The signature (9.8 percent, 3,698 runs, peak 131) is Alma Negra, Charge, Passion, Herald of Zakarum, Holy Shield, Rusthandle, Sacrifice, Smite, Vengeance, and Zeal.

Gear rates: Arachnid Mesh 31.5, Dracul's Grasp 31.5, Herald of Zakarum 30.9. A Paladin build you can actually skill is Zeal, Smite, or Vengeance plus an aura. The base and evolved skills explain why a name-only equipment interpretation is misleading.

Starter plan and late-game direction

Choose one offered Combat Skills attack and an aura that supports the plan. Keep upgrades focused and read the tree before choosing an evolution. This is an editorial learning route, not a claim that one first card is statistically best.

One documented route is Smite with Fanaticism toward Alma Negra; another is Vengeance with Conviction toward Rusthandle, as named in build 20261022.3. Use one as a core and add defense or utility to fit the offered cards. The 131 peak does not validate every such setup.

Auras and evolutions offer several routes. Their names overlap Diablo II equipment, and the skill list cannot be used as a shopping list or a drop-rate table.

Can the first skill be changed?

The opening card offers a starter from each tree (official build 20261017.19, single source). There is no documented individual-card reroll. Akara offers a full re-draft; read the current cost and requirements rather than assuming the old cap. See endgame and items for the next decisions.

Is Paladin the best class?

It has the highest submitted Terror floor and the fastest Hell median. Amazon has more runs. Those are different questions.

Is Passion a Paladin skill here?

Yes: the official 20261020.3 note calls Passion an evolution of Zeal. Diablo II also uses Passion as a runeword name, so context matters.

Which aura is most common?

Concentration, on 85.1 percent of submitted Paladin runs, then Might and Fanaticism.
