I used the official FAQ as the spine and only added a changelog line when the FAQ name is out of date. The phone answer stays split, because the sources are split.

Community

The links printed on the official site are Discord, @framara on X, Ko-fi, and framara.net. Reddit threads in r/diablo2 and r/Diablo_2_Resurrected were cited in an earlier research note. I could not reopen those threads on 2026-10-28, so I am not quoting them.

Bug reports go to Esc → REPORT, or to the Discord channel #bug-reports.

Spelling and the domain

People search the singular, d2survivor, and a few mistyped domains. d2survivors.gg and d2survivors.lil had no A record on 2026-10-28, same as the .io names. The site that publishes the game is d2survivors.lol.

Questions

Is D2 Survivors free?

Yes. No ads, no purchases, and no locked content. A Ko-fi tip does not unlock gameplay.

Do I need Diablo II?

Yes. Lord of Destruction 1.14 or Diablo II: Resurrected. The game reads local files and does not upload them.

Who publishes it?

Francisco Martínez (framara), in Spain. The site is d2survivors.lol. It is not a Blizzard product.

Can I play on my phone?

The FAQ says not now. The changelog still patches phone layouts. Read the platforms page before you assume either sentence is the whole story.

How do I move a save?

The FAQ says Options, Transfer Save. Current builds label the same menu SAVES. Both export a file or a code.

Is there multiplayer?

No co-op mode is documented. Submitted runs show up on the leaderboard.

Does the game include Korean?

Yes. The official site and client include English and Korean. The translators credited on the legal page are smurf and hyunmin yi (oz46).
