D2 Survivors mark D2 SURVIVORS

D2 Survivors and Diablo II: Resurrected

I kept the two products apart on purpose. Resurrected is the file source. D2 Survivors is the survivors-like that reads those files. Warlock belongs to the first one.

Two products

Diablo II: Resurrected is Blizzard's remaster, sold on Battle.net and other stores. D2 Survivors is a free survivors-like published at d2survivors.lol by Francisco Martínez. You walk, skills fire on their own, and you pick a card each level. Resurrected is still the action RPG with towns, acts, and a manual skill bar.

D2 Survivors can use a Resurrected install as its art and sound, or a Lord of Destruction 1.14 install. It does not replace Resurrected, and a Resurrected save is not a D2 Survivors save.

Warlock is the remaster's class

If you searched for a warlock build, you want Resurrected. Blizzard's Reign of the Warlock article and a Nintendo Life headline from February 2026 both introduce that class there. The D2 Survivors class list is the original seven. See classes.

Questions

Do I need to buy Resurrected?

You need either Resurrected or Lord of Destruction 1.14. D2 Survivors itself is free. It does not include those files.

Is Warlock playable in D2 Survivors?

No. Warlock was added to Diablo II: Resurrected. It is not one of the seven D2 Survivors classes.

Which one should I launch?

Launch d2survivors.lol for the survivors-like. Launch Battle.net or Steam when you want Resurrected itself, or when you only need its install folder.
