D2 Survivors mark D2 SURVIVORS

D2 Survivors Assassin

The peak of 58 is the second-lowest on the board. I am not calling the class weak. The common signature is only 173 runs, which is too small to treat as a template.

Diablo 2 Survivors t29 cows. bropeep07, uploaded 2026-10-27. The description calls it a martial-arts Assassin.

Trees and the board

Trees: Traps, Shadow Disciplines, Martial Arts. Starting attributes in the client: 20 strength, 20 dexterity, 20 vitality, 25 energy, with the hint on energy and vitality.

15,994 runs (7.7 percent), 7,191 players, peak Terror 58, median level 83, Hell median 33:58. Build 20261026.1 raised Assassin Terror damage by 50 percent, before the later blanket buff. The snapshot is after those notes. The peak is still 58.

Martial arts show up more than traps

Phoenix Strike 71.2 percent, Dragon Flight 63.8, Blades of Ice 63.3, Cobra Strike 61.4, Shadow Master 56.5, Blade Shield 47.1. Passives: Burst of Speed 95.5, Fade 87.8, Weapon Block 84.1. The common signature (1.1 percent, 173 runs, peak 23) is a long charge-up list: the finishers plus the charge skills and Shadow Master. Gear: Mara's 20.9, Arachnid Mesh 18.6, Harlequin Crest 17.7, Bartuc's Cut-Throat 16.5.

Read it as a melee class that moves with Dragon Flight and stays alive with Burst of Speed and Fade. Traps are on the tree. They are not the top of this list.

Starter plan and late-game direction

Start with one offered Martial Arts attack and build around it; add a mobility or defensive option when available. Avoid splitting every early pick between traps and melee before either route can carry the run. This is an editorial plan derived from the available trees, not a tested clear.

The submitted sample points toward Phoenix Strike, Dragon Flight and Shadow Master, with Burst of Speed or Fade for support. Check evolution requirements on the tree and adapt to offered cards; the sample does not prove that a trap route is inferior.

Mobility helps leave a crowded position, but a melee plan asks you to watch contact damage. Trap usage is lower in this sample; that is a sampling limit, not a verdict.

Can the first skill be changed?

The opening card offers a starter from each tree (official build 20261017.19, single source). There is no documented individual-card reroll. Akara offers a full re-draft; read the current cost and requirements rather than assuming the old cap. See endgame and items for the next decisions.

Questions

Is the Assassin the weakest class?

The peak floor is 58, near the bottom of this snapshot. That is one maximum, not a win rate. I am not ranking the class from it.

What do most Assassin runs use?

Phoenix Strike, Dragon Flight, Blades of Ice, and the passive Burst of Speed on more than 95 percent of runs.

Can I reset the build?

Yes. Akara resets the build. She does not change the class.
